The setting is Gujurat, Burma, and California, places I am going, have been interested in for a long time, or am from (respectively), so the broad outlines of this story of diaspora were already familiar. Thus, the story wraps up in a few pages, followed by a few succinct pages to track the future fate of the major characters.
